Workforce Solutions Receives Project Grant
Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County is proud to announce that our Next STEP Program was one of the initiatives awarded with grant money from the Department of Labor.
Goodwill Camp Independence
Goodwill Industries of Fort Worth hosted several 1-week summer camp sessions for 18-22 year old transitional students seeking educational and career assistance. “Camp Independence” teaches students about jobs, social skills, hygiene, phone etiquette, how to save and spend money, how to apply for a job, interview and network.
Students received first hand work experience and exposure to potential employers during a tour at Justin Brands, Inc. July 21st.
