The InterLink 2011 Labor Market Survey is now online.
Survey results are used by regional public schools and community colleges to develop Career and Technical Education programs that will produce highly skilled employees for the occupations you identify as being in high demand.
All information is confidential and responses will be reported in aggregate. Respondents who complete the survey will receive the InterLink Survey Report by email. The survey closes April 1st.

AllianceTexas High School Senior Leadership Conference
More than 100 Northwest ISD and Keller ISD students were in attendance at the AllianceTexas 7th Annual High School Senior Leadership conference on February 25. The Alliance HR Group Board puts this event together and presents the training. All students rotate through each of four sessions:

Regional Workforce Leadership Council
The Dallas-Fort Worth Regional Workforce Leadership Council (RWLC) was formed in 2002 with a Memorandum of Understanding between the Arlington, Dallas and Fort Worth Chambers of Commerce and the Dallas, North Central Texas and Tarrant Workforce Boards that guided the work of developing industry clusters.
Led by business, the RWLC has functioned as the covener and connector for the formation and ongoing development of the regional clusters. The membership also includes representatives from the targeted industries as well as the important education partners.

Glenn Spoons, Fort Worth Chamber GO Center Coordinator, and June Davis, FWISD Director of Special Projects, introduced the Presbyterian Night Shelter GO Center on January 7 to about 15 residents who were excited about the program.

FWISD Student Engagement 100 Best Communities Celebration
The City of Fort Worth was named one of the nation’s 100 Best Communities for Young People because of the city’s dedication to supporting and engaging youth. Fort Worth’s goal is to create a child-friendly city with a college-bound culture through innovative collaborations and partnerships among volunteers, nonprofits and local government.
