Annual Events

Annual Chamber Golf Classic

Entertain clients, reward employees and make new business contacts at one of the most prestigious, anticipated and just plain fun golf tournaments in Tarrant County. Played in the fall, enjoy the beautiful course of Ridglea Country Club. Contact Lydia Hall at 817-338-3370.

Annual Meeting

Held annually in May-June, nationally known keynote speakers inform and entertain chamber members on topics of the day. The prestigious BNSF Spirit of Enterprise Award is given to a local company that has made significant contributions to the development of the community. Small Business of the Year Awards

Top honors go to a select group of small businesses in the Fort Worth area that have demonstrated “Best Practices” of entrepreneurship, such as sound business planning, fiscal responsibility and innovation in operating their business. Awarded annually at the Mayor’s State of the City reception and luncheon, more than 1,200 people attend. Nominations are open. Contact Lydia Hall at 817-338-3370.

State of the City Address

Every spring, the Mayor of Fort Worth addresses the Fort Worth Chamber membership on community successes and challenges, and outlines the priorities for the upcoming year. More than 1,200 business people and major media attend this community event. Contact Lydia Hall at 817-338-3370.

State of the County Address

This event features the Tarrant County Judge who over sees the Commissioners Court, the central governing body of the county. Serving a population of over 1.8 million people, the Tarrant County Judge plays an integral role in the DFW regional approach to infrastructure needs and air quality, as well as overseeing the Courts administration of setting the tax rate and budget. The Vandergriff Award is presented to a person or company who has positively impacted Greater Tarrant County. Contact Lydia Hall at 817-338-3370.

State of Education

Held in the fall, the Fort Worth ISD superintendent updates the business community on programs implemented during the previous school year, current test scores, new educational initiatives being launched during the upcoming school year and challenges the district is facing. Relationship Building / Networking Opportunities

Business After Hours

A great way to launch your involvement in the chamber or maintain existing business relationships, this member-only, casual networking event is held monthly in the evening at various locations around the area.

Congressional Summit

Become an advocate and gain access to the top DFW-area legislators and other key congressional leaders in Washington DC at this two-day event held bi-annually in the spring. The trip includes receptions, dinners and/or breakfasts, and briefings with Congressional leaders and high-level representatives from federal agencies. Contact Matt Geske at 817-338-3350.

Tarrant County Day at the Capitol

A biannual reception and/or breakfast held in the spring during the Texas legislative session which features briefings by Texas Senators and Representatives at the Texas Capitol in Austin. Membership 101- Orientation

At this orientation, you’ll learn how to make your Chamber membership work for you, introduce yourself to dozens of business people, and learn how to be a better networker.  You’ll also receive a list of everybody who registered to attend.

Network Mania

A fast-paced networking event designed to maximize business contacts in a structured setting.

Special Interest Groups

Area Councils

Area Councils enable members to get involved in the chamber at the grass-roots level through regularly scheduled luncheons featuring speakers addressing timely and important business issues relevant to the five areas of the metro area—north, southwest, west, east and central. Women Insight Network (WIN)
