BASIC FUNCTION:
The Investor Relations Specialist is a key player in supporting strong relationships between the Fort Worth Chamber and its investor community. The specialist supports the Director of Investor Relations. This role is primarily administrative with a focus on executing sponsorship and relationship management to ensure the Chamber’s long-term success. The ideal candidate is strong at executing a recurring process of communications, managing database integrity, and assisting the director as needed.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Event and Program Sponsorships: Communicate with Investors regarding sponsorships; fulfill sponsorships and investor benefits; maintain records of sponsorship engagement.
- Event Coordination: Assist the Director of Investor Relations to organize and execute investor-related events, in coordination with marketing and events teams, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
- Database Management: Maintain and update databases containing investor contacts, engagements, sponsorships, and other pertinent data.
- Investor Communication: Assist with stakeholder and investor management, addressing inquiries and communicating chamber's value and benefits.
- Other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service or relationship-oriented position.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, emphasizing Excel.
- Membership or CRM database experience required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Some domestic travel.
- Moderate noise level.
- Some lifting of up to 25 pounds.
