Jared joined the Fort Worth Chamber as Chief Operations Officer in 2023. In his role, Jared will focus on business retention and expansion efforts, membership value and business intelligence.
His involvement with various community boards and organizations includes past chairman positions on both the Fort Worth Building Standards Commission and the Arts Fort Worth board. His influence in the community has earned him esteemed placements on the Fort Worth Business Press 40 Under 40 and SHOT Business Magazine's 40 Under 40 lists. Jared is an alumnus of Leadership Fort Worth and SteerFW and is a member of the Fort Worth Rotary Club.
Jared’s entrepreneurial spirit shone brightest with Shoot Smart, founded in 2010. This family enterprise, under Jared’s strategic leadership, grew to four prominent locations, receiving national industry acclaim. His insights also contributed to the National Shooting Sports Foundation's councils, further highlighting his ability to navigate and influence niche markets.
After a brief foray into politics in 2021, Jared leveraged his campaign experiences to embrace the role of Executive Director at Accelerate DFW Foundation, Inc., where he worked to create new opportunities for collaboration in support of local entrepreneurs.
Jared holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Public Policy from Indiana University Bloomington and an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington. Outside of work, Jared and his wife, Amethyst, share two young children. Jared indulges in cooking, enjoying performing arts, and traveling.
