The Fort Worth Chamber offices will be closed on Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day. We’ll reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, September 2.
The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce continues to foster meaningful connections among local businesses through our Council Coffees, which are casual and intimate gatherings designed to bring Chamber members together within their specific geographic areas.
Through their unique setting, it provides an opportunity for business leaders to step away from their daily routines, engage in authentic conversations, and build stronger relationships with their neighbors without the structure of formal programming. Each coffee is hosted by a member company within the respective Area Council to ensure accessibility and relevance for the local business community.
Council Coffees also have a competitive element to them—every 1st, 10th, and 20th individual to register for the event has the opportunity to share a three-minute introduction to highlight themselves and their business.
On Friday, May 30th, the South Area Council gathered for a successful Council Coffee hosted by W|R|G. With 20 attendees, the event provided an excellent opportunity for local business leaders to connect while gaining insight into W|R|G’s work in hospital and office furniture solutions. We are grateful to W|R|G for their hospitality and willingness to open the doors to their impressive office space to fellow South Area Council representatives.
Looking ahead, the North Area Council will host its next Council Coffee on June 24th. This event will not only provide a space for members to connect, but it will also kick off a school supply donation drive benefiting the numerous school districts that are part of North Fort Worth. This drive will benefit Fort Worth ISD, Keller ISD, Castleberry ISD, Lake Worth ISD, H.E.B ISD, and more.
The North Area Coffee will be the first in a series of donation drives, with each Area Council hosting its own coffee throughout the summer. Be sure to watch your inbox for more details in the coming weeks.
Council Coffees are listed on the Chamber calendar, but invitations are sent directly by Business Advocacy Manager Henri Nilsen to ensure they remain exclusive to members of each specific Area Council. If you're unsure which Council you are part of, please email Henri.
