Fort Worth Chamber Assists Renfro Foods With Parking Restrictions, Enhancing Traffic Safety

The Fort Worth Chamber (FWC) has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting local businesses by assisting Renfro's Salsa, a renowned salsa manufacturer, with the implementation of parking restrictions. This endeavor, made possible by a lead from FWC’s BRE committee member David Campbell, aims to improve traffic safety for trucks entering Renfro's Salsa loading zone. Both David Campbell, Vice President at Huitt-Zollars, Inc., and Doug Renfro, CEO of Renfro's Salsa, expressed their appreciation for the FWC's efforts in addressing business climate and infrastructure challenges.

In discussing his passion for helping the Fort Worth business community, David Campbell, a member of the FWC's Business Retention and Expansion Committee, stated, "Fort Worth is not just a place where I work; it's my home. I am deeply committed to fostering a thriving business climate that benefits the entire community. By assisting local businesses like Renfro's Salsa, we can contribute to the growth and success of Fort Worth's economy."

Doug Renfro, President of Renfro's Salsa, expressed his gratitude towards the FWC for their dedication to improving Fort Worth's business climate and addressing infrastructure challenges. Renfro commented, "The Fort Worth Chamber has been instrumental in helping businesses like ours overcome obstacles that hinder growth. Their support in implementing parking restrictions for our loading zone not only enhances traffic safety but also streamlines our operations. We are grateful for their proactive approach in making Fort Worth an ideal place for businesses to thrive."

Renfro Foods, Inc., makers of Mrs. Renfro’s salsas and many other fine products, is a family-owned brand established in 1940 within the humble confines of a family garage. The company relocated to its present-day location in 1953. Since then, it has been a beloved fixture in the community, crafting its renowned salsas with passion and dedication. While the parking and traffic issues are not new to the company, the FWC was made aware of the challenges recently through its business retention and expansion efforts.

Addressing business climate issues, like the parking restrictions for Renfro's Salsa, relies on active community involvement. The FWC encourages residents, business owners, and community members to be vocal, get involved, and actively engage in the process. By participating in discussions, providing feedback, and supporting the FWC's endeavors, individuals can play a pivotal role in addressing business climate challenges and fostering a conducive environment for economic growth in Fort Worth.

The FWC is dedicated to understanding and addressing the key challenges faced by business owners. If you currently encounter any specific business climate issues that you would like to bring to our attention, share your feedback here.
