Fort Worth, TX – In a collaborative effort to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the City’s Development Services Department, the City of Fort Worth has embarked on a comprehensive structural and efficiency study. Playing a pivotal role in this effort, Fort Worth Chamber members participated in one of several focus groups, contributing valuable insights to this significant project.

One of many facilitated by the City of Fort Worth, the focus group included eight FWC members. The focus group was an opportunity for business leaders to provide feedback on the City’s current business practices and structure. The Chamber hosted the event to engage members in meaningful dialogue shaping the future of Fort Worth’s business environment.

A PLATFORM FOR COLLABORATIVE IMPROVEMENT

The study aims to review and evaluate the City’s practices, analyze the current environment, gather feedback from stakeholders, and propose recommendations for organizational and customer service improvements.

Brandon Elms, a participating Chamber member, expressed his appreciation for the initiative: “Thank you so much for the invitation to participate in the focus group. I really enjoyed the opportunity to join this group in sharing insight and ideas on improving the development process at the City. Despite some challenges we face, there are lots of great people at the City who deserve to be recognized in a positive way.”

In addition to the focus group, the Chamber has facilitated one-on-one opportunities for companies to provide additional feedback online, ensuring a comprehensive and diverse range of inputs from the business community.
