FORT WORTH CHAMBER'S MANUFACTURING MASTERMIND GROUP GEARS UP FOR EXCITING 2024 SCHEDULE

The Fort Worth Chamber continues to empower Fort Worth’s manufacturing industry, and for the remainder of 2023 and into 2024, they have an exciting lineup of events planned for the Fort Worth Manufacturing Mastermind Group

UPCOMING 2023 MEET-AND-GREET MEETINGS: 

The FWC has scheduled two meet-and-greet sessions for the Fort Worth Manufacturing Mastermind Group, providing valuable networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities for local manufacturers. These meetings will take place on: 

1. Thursday, October 19th, 4:00 - 5:00 pm: The evening will kick off with 30 minutes of networking, followed by a special speaker, Victor Vandergriff, who will discuss transportation-related topics. 

2. Thursday, December 7th, 4:00 - 5:00 pm: Another networking session, lasting 30 minutes, will precede discussions led by Becky Redman and Kyle Jacobson. They will delve into the legislative session's outcomes, especially as they pertain to Government Affairs, including talent and workforce matters. This meeting will serve as a perfect prelude to the group's first official meeting in 2024. 

EXCITING PLANS FOR 2024: 

The Fort Worth Manufacturing Mastermind Group is gearing up for an exciting year in 2024, with quarterly meetings that promise to be insightful and informative. Each quarterly meeting will be held on the 4th Thursday of the first month of the quarter, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, starting with 15 minutes of networking. 

Here's a sneak peek into the topics and speakers scheduled for these meetings: 

1. Thursday, January 25th, 4:00 - 5:30 pm: The first official meeting of 2024 will focus on talent. Steve Stewart, from Morton Industries, will share insights into the Skills USA program in Illinois, flying in to be present in person. 

2. Thursday, April 25th, 4:00 - 5:30 pm: The meeting's topic will revolve around energy, discussing costs, outages, and related issues. The group is excited to invite Donald McFarland as the speaker. 

Looking ahead, the Fort Worth Manufacturing Mastermind Group is considering various other topics for upcoming meetings, including discussions on automation.
