Fort Worth Chamber's Yolanda Henderson Honored with Sales Achievement Award

July 24, 2025

The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate a landmark achievement by one of our most dedicated team members. Yolanda Henderson, who has served the Chamber for over 12 years, has been awarded the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE)’s Dana Ketterling Lifetime Sales Achievement Award in the Diamond category. This prestigious national recognition is awarded to chamber professionals who have reached over $1.5 million in total membership sales during their careers.

Yolanda received the award on July 23 at the 2025 ACCE Annual Convention in Philadelphia. She was honored among her peers for her exceptional performance, unwavering work ethic, and the meaningful relationships she has built with Chamber members across the Fort Worth business community.

“We are incredibly proud to see Yolanda Henderson recognized by the ACCE with this prestigious award,” said Steve Montgomery, President & CEO of the Fort Worth Chamber. “Her unmatched skill, unwavering tenacity, and deep-rooted commitment to our business community have not only driven extraordinary results but have also strengthened the very fabric of our chamber. For many years, she has been a trusted partner, a mentor to many, and a tireless advocate for local growth. This honor is a testament to the impact one dedicated individual can have—not just on an organization, but on an entire region.”

Over the past 12 years, Yolanda’s role at the Chamber has evolved, but her purpose has remained constant: connecting with people and championing the success of Fort Worth businesses. “As time passed, I came to understand that my position at the Fort Worth Chamber was more than merely a job—it was, in a way, a vocation,” she said. “Witnessing the outcomes of my work has been both motivating and fulfilling.”

That passion for purpose, paired with a relentless drive to serve, has set Yolanda apart. Her success is not simply measured in numbers, but in the trust she has earned and the impact she has made. “Authenticity has been a fundamental principle I’ve employed in cultivating long-term connections with Chamber members,” she shared. “I am convinced that it serves as the cornerstone of lasting relationships.”

Yolanda’s consistency in meeting and exceeding yearly sales targets is another defining feature of her legacy. “Although I am aware of my strong work ethic, I yet harbored doubts about its attainability. It was only through consistent performance over the years that I realized I was surpassing the set goals,” she said. Her persistence and belief in completing the race, no matter the obstacles, speak volumes about the dedication she brings to the Chamber and its mission.

For those just beginning their careers in business development or membership roles, Yolanda offers this advice: “Comprehend the organization’s vision and mission, along with a clear understanding of your responsibilities. Cultivating a robust work ethic and actively pursuing opportunities for personal and professional growth is essential.”

As the leading voice for business in Fort Worth, the Chamber is honored to have team members like Yolanda who not only live out our mission but embody the values that sustain a thriving, pro-business community. Her achievement serves as an inspiration to colleagues, members, and partners throughout the region.

Congratulations, Yolanda, on this national recognition of your remarkable career—and thank you for your continued service to Fort Worth’s business future.
