The Fort Worth Chamber’s 2025 State of the County brought business and community leaders together to hear an update on Tarrant County’s direction, priorities, and continued growth from County Judge Tim O’Hare through his interview of a panel of county officials including: District Attorney Phil Sorrells, Sheriff Bill Waybourn, and County Clerk Mary Louise Nicholson.
The event also recognized Texas Health Resources as the 2025 recipient of the Vandergriff Award, honoring the organization’s leadership, community impact, and contributions to Tarrant County.
Established in 2011 in memory of Tarrant County Judge Tom Vandergriff, the Vandergriff Award recognizes a legacy individual or organization whose contributions positively impact Tarrant County on a national scale.
Presented annually at State of the County, the award honors recipients who embody the spirit of Tom Vandergriff through their commitment to community, integrity in business, and collaboration with the city, county, and businesses throughout the region.
