As the third quarter of 2025 comes to a close, it’s a fitting time to pause and recognize the meaningful strides we’ve made together. Your active involvement with the Fort Worth Chamber continues to fuel our work—helping us advocate effectively and deliver real value to our business community.
This quarter has been marked by significant achievements—from dynamic events and strategic advocacy to initiatives that lay the groundwork for our future. It’s been a season of forward movement, strong partnerships, and impactful progress. Here are a few highlights worth celebrating.
We were thrilled to see such strong participation across a range of events this quarter, each designed to educate, connect, and elevate Fort Worth’s business leaders.

One of our most well-attended events this quarter was the State of the County, featuring County Judge Tim O’Hare moderating a compelling panel discussion with District Attorney Phil Sorrells, County Sheriff Bill Waybourn, and County Clerk Mary Louise Nicholson. The discussion provided valuable insights into key issues impacting our region—from public safety to judicial access—and reinforced the importance of collaboration across government and business sectors.
Another standout moment was our phenomenally successful Young Professionals Summit, which brought together hundreds of emerging leaders for a day of networking, professional development, and inspiration. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising both the content and the energy in the room. We’re proud to be helping shape the next generation of leadership in Fort Worth.
Advocacy in Action: Supporting Public Education and Small Business
Our advocacy work remained front and center this quarter as well. In September, we sent a letter to the Texas Education Commissioner on behalf of Fort Worth’s business community, expressing our strong support for efforts to improve outcomes in our local public school district. A high-performing education system is essential to building a skilled workforce and sustaining long-term economic growth, and we are committed to being a constructive partner in these efforts.
We also continued working closely with the City of Fort Worth to advance a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) program aimed at increasing access and opportunities for small businesses seeking to work with the City. This initiative—developed in partnership with the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber—represents a meaningful step toward broader economic participation and developing local small business capacity. We look forward to sharing more updates as this work progresses.
Strategic Planning: Shaping the Future of the Chamber
Perhaps most significantly, our Board of Directors has approved a major strategic planning initiative that will guide the Chamber’s evolution in the years ahead. This is not just an internal exercise—it’s an important opportunity to rethink how we serve our members, how we measure impact, and how we align our work with the broader needs of Fort Worth’s business ecosystem.
As part of this process, we will be engaging with members, partners, and stakeholders to better understand your priorities and expectations. Your insights will help shape the Chamber’s direction and ensure we remain a dynamic, responsive, and forward-thinking organization.
Looking Ahead
As we enter the final quarter of the year, our focus remains clear: to advocate for policies that promote economic growth, to deliver programming that adds value to your membership, and to continue building a business environment where companies of all sizes and sectors can thrive.
Fort Worth is a city on the rise. The energy we’re seeing across our economy—from small business innovation to large-scale investment—is both exciting and encouraging. With your continued involvement, we will harness that momentum and turn it into lasting progress.
Thank you again for your support of the Fort Worth Chamber. We’re honored to serve as your partner in prosperity.
