Future-Focused: A New Task Force to Advance Carter Industrial Park

January 28, 2026

This month, the Carter Industrial Task Force convened for its inaugural meeting, hosted by the Fort Worth Chamber and the South Area Board, to launch a coordinated effort focused on strengthening business growth and long-term competitiveness in the Carter Industrial Park area of South Fort Worth.

Formed through the Chamber’s Business Advocacy work and feedback from employers and developers in the area, the task force brings together key stakeholders such as property owners, developers, contractors, and major tenants to identify shared advantages and address the barriers that can slow expansion, investment, and day-to-day operations. Located in South Fort Worth near the Everman Parkway corridor, Carter Industrial Park spans the Will Rogers Boulevard and Oak Grove Road area and is supported by nearby rail infrastructure, making it a rapidly growing hub for industrial and manufacturing activity.

Participating companies and partners include DrinkPAK, Rob Riner Companies, HITT Construction, Siemens, and the City of Fort Worth, with additional major employers and utilities engaged or expected to join future meetings, including Molson Coors, Alcon, Mother Parkers, and Oncor. The group is also working to broaden participation to more tenants throughout the park to ensure the full range of operational needs and on-the-ground feedback is represented.

The task force will meet regularly moving forward, using a collaborative approach to prioritize the most pressing issues and work with relevant city departments and regional partners to advance solutions that keep Carter Industrial Park a strong place to invest, operate, and expand.

The creation of the Carter Industrial Task Force is a proactive step toward future-proofing one of Fort Worth’s most active industrial corridors. Rather than waiting for challenges to become barriers to growth, the task force establishes an ongoing forum where businesses, developers, and partners can surface issues early, coordinate around infrastructure and policy needs, and align on long-term priorities. This forward-looking approach helps ensure that companies already operating in Carter Industrial Park have the support and conditions necessary to expand and reinvest, while also positioning the area as a well-organized, business-responsive location for new industrial and manufacturing projects. By continuously improving the operating environment, the task force is designed to strengthen the overall business climate and reinforce Carter Industrial Park as a competitive, resilient destination for industrial growth in Fort Worth.
