Join the Drive: Support Local Students with Essential School Supplies

August 5, 2025

As the back-to-school season approaches, the Fort Worth Chamber is proud to continue our school supply drive to support local students and teachers across the city. With the help of our engaged members and generous business community, we’ve already seen strong momentum through two successful donation events—and we’re not done yet.

Our first collection kicked off on June 24 at Texas Airsystems, where our North Area Council gathered and delivered an impressive array of school supplies. Last week, we hosted a second drive during the West and South Area Council Coffee at Ampersand, and once again, our members stepped up in a big way to support Fort Worth ISD students.

Continuing the Momentum

We’re continuing to collect donations through next Friday, and we encourage all members and community partners to participate. Supplies can be dropped off at the Fort Worth Chamber office (777 Taylor Street, Suite 900) between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

All items collected will be delivered to Fort Worth ISD, who will manage distribution to ensure supplies reach the schools and students with the greatest need.

Critically Needed Supplies

Fort Worth ISD identified the following items as most essential:

  • No. 2 pencils (12 count)
  • Crayons (24 count)
  • Washable broad-tip markers (8 count, classic colors)
  • Glue sticks
  • Blunt-tip scissors
  • Composition notebooks (100 pages, 9 3/4 x 7 1/2)
  • Plastic pocket folders with brads (assorted solid colors)
  • Dry erase markers (any color)
  • Facial tissues (2 boxes)
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Backpacks
  • Earbud headphones (optional)

Whether you’re a business looking to support education in your community or an individual wanting to make a difference, your donation will go directly toward setting students up for success this school year.

A Commitment to Community

As the leading voice for business in Fort Worth, the Chamber is committed to strengthening partnerships across our city that uplift not just our economy—but the people who make it thrive. Our school supply drive is one small example of how the Fort Worth business community continues to invest in the future workforce and support the education system that powers our region’s growth.

We’re grateful to our members, local businesses, and partners who have already contributed, and we look forward to another week of impactful giving.

If you’d like to get involved or have questions about what to donate, please reach out to our team. Thank you for helping us make a difference—one backpack at a time.
