JOIN US: Policy Pulse Conversation on the Future of Work

May 29, 2024

The Fort Worth Chamber is partnering with the American Enterprise Institute scholar Brent Orrell on June 13 to facilitate a conversation surrounding education and workforce needs in a rapidly evolving economy. Orrell will explore the impacts of an aging workforce, technological change, demographic trends, and shifting skill requirements. Drawing insights from the collaborative research of the Workforce Futures Initiative, Orrell will cover strategies to adapt to the workforce of the future.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with policy leaders, business executives, and other education and workforce stakeholders, as well as to engage in a Q&A with Orrell. With labor persisting as a top challenge for businesses across industry sectors, the FWC’s Policy Pulse aims to provide insightful conversation and solutions that matter to Fort Worth area businesses.

Registration is available online; $15 for FWC members and $25 for non-members.

The Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce joined with hundreds of national, state, and local trade associations to request a stay and delayed implementation of the Federal Trade Commission’s Noncompete Rule. The full letter can be viewed here.
